Option 1: Delete from the App (Recommended)
- Open the Vora app
- Go to Settings (tap your profile icon)
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account
- Select a reason for leaving
- Tap Delete My Account to confirm
Your account will be deleted immediately.
Option 2: Request Deletion by Email
If you can no longer access the app, email us at support@askvora.com with the subject line "Delete My Account" and include the email address associated with your Vora account.
We will process your request within 7 business days.
What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your authentication credentials (login is immediately disabled)
- Your profile information (name, email, date of birth, height, weight, preferences)
- Your workout history and exercise logs
- Your nutrition and food logs
- Your chat history with the AI coach
- Your calendar event mappings
- Your health data synced from Apple Health or Health Connect
- Your profile photo
- Your friend connections and shared workouts
- Your meditation and recovery session logs
- Connected third-party integrations (Oura, WHOOP, Strava, Google Calendar)
What Data May Be Retained
- Anonymized analytics data collected via PostHog (event logs with no personally identifiable information) may be retained for product improvement purposes.
- Subscription transaction records managed by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat may be retained per their respective data retention policies.
- Deletion reason and feedback you provided during the deletion process may be retained in anonymized form to improve our service.
Retained data cannot be used to re-identify you after deletion.
Retention Period
Your account data is deactivated immediately upon deletion. Personally identifiable data is purged from our systems within 30 days of your deletion request.
