Start in the wearable app
Choose one completed workout or a night of sleep. Sync your device with its own app. Write down the date, record type and source.
If the record is missing there, Vora cannot fetch it yet. Check the wearable first. Sleep may take time to process after you wake up.
Follow the connection you use
Open Settings, then Connections in Vora. Find your service and check its status.
Direct connection
Check that the correct wearable account is linked. Review the import options and use the connection’s sync control if one is shown.
iPhone with Apple Health
Open Health and find the same data category and date. Check the source of the record. Allow the companion app to write and Vora to read that category.
Android with Health Connect
Open Health Connect and check the category, source app and permissions. The companion app needs write access and Vora needs read access.
Compare the same thing
Return to Vora and open the same date. Compare the record type, source and units. A sleep score is not the same as hours asleep. A daily step total is not the same as one walk.
If you use two devices, check which source a record came from. Do not add both step totals together or assume different sleep estimates are duplicate errors.
This check confirms whether a record reached Vora. It does not measure the accuracy of the wearable’s sensors.
Know what may stay in the source app
Phone health sharing does not carry every proprietary score. WHOOP recovery and HRV detail require the supported direct connection. That connection is in beta with limited spots.
Samsung Health through Health Connect and Samsung’s own connection expose different data. Check the options available on your phone. A score shown in Samsung Health is not proof that Health Connect shares it.
If the record is still missing
Check the connection status and permissions before disconnecting or reinstalling. Repeatedly reconnecting does not create a record the provider has not shared.
Contact support with your phone model, app version, wearable, connection route, date and missing record type. A cropped screenshot of the relevant record can help. Leave out account credentials and unrelated health details.
About this check
We reviewed the iPhone and Android connection flows and the vendor instructions below on September 10, 2026. These steps help you test your own connection. They are not a claim that we physically tested every device.
Common questions
Why does Vora say Connected when a record is missing?
Connected means access is enabled. The device may not have synced, the provider may still be processing the record, or that category may not be shared through your route.
Should I disconnect and reconnect first?
First check the original record, connection status and permissions. Reconnecting will not help if the source app has not shared the record.
Does this test prove my wearable is accurate?
No. It checks whether a record reached Vora. Sensor accuracy requires a different kind of test.
