Free now is not a lifetime price
AI with Kyle reported free Instinct access on September 23, 2026. We have not verified a permanent free plan, a future subscription price, or a date when billing will begin.
The question is fair: a useful AI agent costs money to run. But that alone does not tell us how a company will fund it. We cannot honestly say Instinct is about to take your money.
This guide comes from the Vora team, a health-app company with its own free and paid features. It is a review of public information, not an independent product test.
Why would an AI company make access free?
In general, free access can help a company test demand, learn what people use, and improve a product before it settles on a business model. Some services keep a free allowance. Others add subscriptions or usage-based plans.
Those are common options, not a confirmed explanation of Instinct's strategy. Treat any prediction of its future price as speculation until there is an official offer.
What do Instinct's terms say about payment?
Section 4 of Instinct's terms permits fees for some features and pricing changes. It does not publish a future price or billing date.
Section 3 also covers purchases through connected services. A purchase the agent makes on your behalf is separate from the price of using Instinct.
That distinction matters for any agent. A free assistant can still help you buy a flight or groceries that cost money. Check the amount, merchant, and approval screen before a transaction.
What about your data?
The terms allow model training on user materials, with a go-forward opt-out, a safety-review exception, and exclusions for Vault materials. Read the privacy policy and current account controls before connecting sensitive information.
Those rules deserve attention. They do not, on their own, prove that a company sells your data or plans to charge you unexpectedly.
Four things to check before you rely on it
- The offer: Is this free access, a trial, or a subscription with a renewal date?
- The limit: What happens when an allowance runs out? Look for the answer before assuming unlimited use.
- The permission: What can the agent read, send, or buy? Start with the access needed for your task.
- The exit: Can you disconnect services, remove data, and cancel any paid plan? Find those controls while setup is still simple.
For health coaching, compare the whole setup
If health is the reason you want an agent, look beyond the word “free.” Check whether your wearable data arrives, whether you can keep food and workout records, and whether the guidance uses that context.
Vora brings supported devices, including Oura and Garmin, together with workouts, nutrition, recovery, and proactive AI coaching. Food barcode scanning and workout logging are free. AI chat and Vora AI Text share 10 messages a day on Free and 100 on Pro.
