Does Vora work on Android?

Yes. Vora is on Google Play and runs on Android 8.0 or later, with food and workout logging, the AI coach, Health Connect and direct connections to Oura, Garmin, Fitbit, WHOOP (beta) and Samsung Health. There is no Vora app for Android smartwatches, and a few features, such as the bloodwork PDF export, are iPhone only.

Install Vora on Android

  1. Install Vora from Google Play. It needs Android 8.0 or later.
  2. Open Vora and sign in.
  3. Connect your health data from Settings, then Connections: Health Connect, or a direct connection for your wearable.

Where your health data comes from

  • Health Connect: Vora reads up to 22 types of data that your other apps share there, such as sleep, heart rate, HRV, workouts, nutrition and weight.
  • Direct connections to Oura, Garmin, Fitbit and WHOOP (beta), the same as on iPhone.
  • Samsung Health: through Health Connect, plus a direct Samsung Health connection on Android 10 or later.
  • Apple Health is only on iPhone, so it is not a route on Android.

What works on Android

  • Food logging by photo, barcode, voice, description and search
  • Workout logging and AI workout suggestions
  • The AI coach, with the same daily limits as iPhone: 10 messages a day on Vora Free and 100 on Vora Pro
  • Vora AI Text, with replies over RCS
  • Bloodwork: importing and graphing lab reports
  • Writing the meals, water and workouts you log in Vora back to Health Connect, if you allow it

What differs from iPhone

  • There is no Vora app for Wear OS or Galaxy Watch. An Android watch reaches Vora through its own app, using Health Connect or a direct connection.
  • The Vora Apple Watch app needs an iPhone.
  • The clinical-style bloodwork PDF export is on iPhone only.
  • Vora AI Text replies travel over RCS on Android, and SMS fallback is not turned on.
  • Vora Pro is bought through checkout on askvora.com. There is no Google Play purchase for Vora Pro.

Free or Pro

The Android app is free to download and use, and every health data connection is free. Vora Pro is listed at the same price as on iPhone: $12.99 a month or $89.99 a year.
