Connect Garmin to Vora
Keep Garmin Connect installed on your Android phone. Check that a recent watch record appears there before connecting Vora.
Open Garmin in Vora settings
Find Garmin in your device connections and start the account connection.
Allow the data you want to share
Sign in to Garmin and review the permissions. Return to Vora and choose what to import.
Sync your watch, then check Vora
Open Garmin Connect and let the watch finish syncing. Check the connection status and a recent record in Vora.
Check what your account shares
The records Vora receives depend on your Garmin device and the access you grant. Review the connection screen for the available categories and any missing permissions.
Past history is separate from new data. If the connection says only new data will arrive, reconnecting does not guarantee your older records will transfer.
Why Sync now can show nothing new
Vora’s Sync now button processes records that Garmin has already sent. It does not make your watch upload new data.
If a workout is missing, open Garmin Connect first and sync the watch. Once it appears there, give the connection time to deliver it. Then check Vora again.
If a whole category is missing, review the sharing permissions in your Garmin account and re-check the connection in Vora.
Already using Health Connect?
A direct Garmin connection takes priority over the same Garmin records relayed through Health Connect. Vora sets the relayed copy aside to avoid counting it twice.
If you disconnect Garmin directly, records shared through Health Connect can take over again. The available data may differ between the two routes.
Common questions
Do I still need Garmin Connect?
Yes. Your watch syncs with Garmin Connect first. Garmin then sends the permitted data to Vora.
Will all my Garmin history import?
Not always. History depends on the access available to your connection. Vora’s Garmin settings show when only new data will arrive.
What happens when I disconnect Garmin?
The direct connection stops. Already imported records remain in Vora, and any Garmin records shared through Health Connect can take over again.
