Does Vora work with Oura?

Yes. Vora connects directly to your Oura account on iPhone and Android, free on every plan, and imports sleep stages, HRV, resting heart rate, body temperature deviation, blood oxygen, activity and workouts. Oura’s Readiness and Sleep scores are not imported.

What Vora imports from Oura

  • Sleep stages, HRV, resting heart rate and respiratory rate, from Oura sleep data
  • Body temperature deviation
  • Blood oxygen (SpO2)
  • Steps and active energy
  • Workouts

Right after you connect, Vora imports your last 30 days of Oura data, then starts on your older history.

What Vora does not import

  • Oura’s Readiness Score and its contributors. From Oura’s readiness data, Vora takes only body temperature deviation.
  • Oura’s Sleep Score. Vora calculates its own Sleep and Recovery scores from your data.

How Vora uses Oura data

  • Oura HRV and resting heart rate feed Vora’s Recovery score, and body temperature is used for illness detection in that score.
  • Oura sleep feeds Vora’s Sleep score.
  • You can ask Vora’s AI coach about your Oura data and get charts of your own numbers.

How to connect Oura

  1. Sync your ring with the Oura app.
  2. In Vora, open Settings, then Connections, then Oura Ring.
  3. Sign in to your Oura account and allow the data you want to share.
  4. Vora imports your recent data and keeps new Oura data syncing.

iPhone and Android

The direct connection works on iPhone and Android. Oura can also share records with Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android.

If the same Oura data reaches Vora both ways, Vora keeps both sources and decides which one to use for each metric. Choosing the source for a metric yourself needs Vora Pro.

Free or Pro

The direct Oura connection is free on every Vora plan. It first appears in the release notes for Vora 2.2.

Connecting Vora does not change Oura’s own membership requirements.
