Wearables and health apps
Does Vora work with Fitbit?
Yes. Vora connects to Fitbit directly on iPhone and Android, free on every plan, and imports sleep, heart rate, HRV, blood oxygen, activity, workouts and more. Direct spots are limited while Google verifies Vora’s Fitbit access, and on Android, Health Connect is another route.
Limited spots
Access to the direct Fitbit connection is capped while Google verifies Vora’s Fitbit connection. When every spot is taken, the Fitbit screen in Vora says more spots are coming soon.
If you have connected Fitbit to Vora before, you keep your spot, so reconnecting does not need a new one.
On Android, Health Connect is another route in the meantime.
What Vora imports from Fitbit
- Sleep stages and duration
- Heart rate and resting heart rate
- HRV and respiratory rate
- Blood oxygen (SpO2) and skin temperature
- Steps, active energy and Active Zone Minutes
- Exercise sessions
- VO2 max (cardio fitness)
- Weight and body fat
- Calories and macros logged in Fitbit
Vora uses Fitbit sleep, HRV and resting heart rate in its Sleep and Recovery scores.
How to connect Fitbit
- Make sure your Fitbit device has synced with its app.
- In Vora, open Settings, then Connections, then Fitbit.
- Tap Connect and sign in to the account that holds your Fitbit data.
- If every spot is taken, the screen says more spots are coming soon. Otherwise Vora starts importing your recent data.
iPhone and Android
On iPhone, Vora gets Fitbit data through the direct connection.
On Android, you can use the direct connection, or let the Google Health app share your Fitbit data with Health Connect, which Vora reads.
Free or Pro
The Fitbit connection is free on every Vora plan. The iPhone release notes for Vora 3.3.0 made Fitbit and Oura free to connect on any plan.
Vora writes this help article about its own app. Get Vora on the App Store for iPhone or on Google Play for Android. If something here is out of date, email support@askvora.com. Editorial policy.
